Founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that international experts should be called to investigate the death of JSQM chairman Bashir Qureshi. He said this while talking to JSQM leader Dr Niaz Kalani on telephone.

Dr Kalani said that the medical board examining the chemical samples obtained from the body of Bashir Qureshi had also confirmed the cause of death as poisoning. He said that the investigations should be done by international experts and sought support from Mr Hussain in this regard.

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has offered his condolences on the sad demise of mother of Mr Nazir Laghari, the Editor of Daily Awam .Mr Hussain sympathized with the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The Co-ordination Committee said that the demand of the people living in Hazara for a separate province should also be considered.

LOSS OF LIVES IN INCIDENTS OF TERRORISM IS A CAUSE OF CONCERN FOR THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the killings of three police personnel and injuries to many others in incidents of indiscriminate firing in Quetta. The committee termed the incidents as blatant terrorism.

The Co-ordination Committee said that the perpetrators of the incidents were bloodthirsty terrorists and did not deserve any leniency. The loss of innocent lives in such incidents was a cause of grave concern for the people of Pakistan.

ELEMENTS INVOLVED IN SECTARIAN KILLINGS ARE PURSUING THEIR VICIOUS AGENDA

Mr Hussain said that the elements involved in instigating sectarian strife and killings of innocent people were working on a vicious agenda to spoil the environment of peace, harmony and brotherhood. Those fanning the fire of sectarian feuds were enemies of the country and must be dealt with strongly.

Police have recovered a large cache of arms containing hand grenades, rocket launchers and antiaircraft guns after raiding a house in Mochko area of Karachi west the other day. According to the SSP West, a huge cache of arms containing 100 hand grenades, 15 rocket launchers with mortars and antiaircraft guns have been recovered during a raid in Mochko area after receiving a tip-off.

It would also be in your knowledge that a number of innocent young people were kidnapped during the previous Ramadan by the criminals and antisocial elements. They were taken to torture cells located in different parts of Lyari and subjected to brutal and inhuman bodily torture. Their heads were chopped off and their bodies were stuffed in gunny sacks and dumped in different parts of Karachi. Several kidnapped persons were released from the captivity of the terrorists of Lyari gang war on the intervention of Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
