A meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM was held in London and Pakistan simultaneously to deliberate on the situation arising after the protest of the MQM against collection of extortion money from the business community in Karachi.The meeting noted that no action was taken by the federal and the provincial against the extortion mafia in Karachi in spite of the peaceful protests of the MQM in the National Assembly and the Sindh Assembly.
