Deputy Parliamentary Leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Haider Abbass Rizvi has denounced the statement of PML (N) leader Nawaz Sharif calling establishment of military courts in Karachi. Speaking in the National Assembly, he said that the statement made by Nawaz Sharif was unconstitutional, undemocratic and reflected Sharif’s utter disregard for the human rights.
MQM submits bill in NA for new provinces,

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement submitted on Monday to the National Assembly secretariat a constitution amendment bill seeking creation of new provinces in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

While the bill specifically mentions Hazara province to comprise six districts of the KP, it suggests that people of 21 districts in south Punjab should decide through a referendum if they want a large Seraiki province or more than one province.

Mr Mahmood Hussain Siddiqui breathed his last in Karachi today. Mr Hussain offered his condolences and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed its Hailed over the grenade attack on a shop in Hyderi market in Karachi. The committee sympathized with the two persons who were injured in the attack. The committee said that a few days ago a mobile franchise shop was attacked by armed assailants in Shadman Town as well in which two persons had died.

Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the MQM would introduce 20th Constitutional Amendment in the parliament on 2nd January for the creation of Hazara and Southern Punjab provinces. He was speaking to a large gathering of Hazara and Seraiki people that had come to Nine Zero in the form of rallies for expressing their joy over the submission of the resolution in the National Assembly by the MQM calling for the creation of the new provinces in the country.
