Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his profound grief and sorrow on the death of renowned educationist Professor Afaq Ahmed Siddiqui. He offered condolences and sympathized with the bereaved family. He asked them to bear the irreparable loss with patience and fortitude. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

Hailing the government’s decision of reducing the prices of petroleum products, including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), the Haq Parast members of the National Assembly, urged the government to take more measures aimed at providing further relief to poor people of the country.Describing the reduction in the petroleum prices `a good omen’, the members of the National Assembly said that though the MQM in its budget proposals had hinted towards reduction in the petroleum prices, the need of the hour was to give more subsidy on petroleum products.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday expressed his grief and sorrow over the brutal killings of Muttahida’s Lyari Sector’s worker Kamran and Syed Shahid Ali, brother of Agra Taj Colony’s Sector Committee In-charge, Muhamad Naeem. In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Mr Hussain said that he and all workers of the MQM share the grief of the bereaved families.
