Muttahida Quami Movement’s Rabita Committee has demanded that Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah should be granted the status of Municipal corporations like Larkana. Qasimabad should be allowed to remain the part of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. It should not be made municipal commitee. This action will be equivalent to breaking the city of Hyderabad.

Terming the appointment of new Chief of Army Staff `an extremely sensitive issue’, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Friday appealed to the media, especially the hosts of TV talk shows to refrain from commenting and debating the issue.
“In fact, the act of making such a sensitive issue controversial or discussing the same amounts to an insult not only to the high position but also to the institutions responsible for the country’s survival,” he added.

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that MQM is the only party that can find the solutions to escalating political and financial crisis faced by the country. It can develop viable and constructive solutions for the internal and external challenges faced by Pakistan. MQM can deal with foreign powers for the resolution of security issues faced by Pakistan and take courageous decisions on foreign policy matters.
Mr. Hussain expressed these views on Thursday while talking to volunteers at the Central Hides collection camp set up by the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation in Sukker. On this occasion a large number of MQM workers and supporters were present.
