MQM protested against the abusive language used by anchorperson Mubashir Luqman  for Muhajirs in front of the office of ARY. 
MQM’s deputy conveners Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Engineer Nasir Jamal, members of Rabita Committee, elected representatives and parliamentarians, members of Karachi Tanzeemi Committee and members of different wings, sectors and units participated in the protest demonstration.
Demonstrators were carrying placards condemning Mubashir Lucqman’s behavior and bias attitude towards Muhajirs. ‘Urdu Speakers condemns Mubahsir’s abusive language, ‘ARY stop anti-Muhajir campaigns’ and other slogans were written on placards and banners.  They also chanted slogans against ARY and Mubashir Lucqman. 
Haider Abbas Rizvi termed Mubashir’s  behavior and attitude unethical, undemocratic and uncivilized. He added that MQM believed in the freedom of media and requested them to stop smearing campaign against Muhajirs because it was hurting the feelings of crores of Muhajirs. 
‘We are proud to be Muhajirs. Don’t criticize Muhajirs to increase your channels’ ratings. What kind of journalism Mubashir is doing journalists should take notice of that? We are staging this protest demonstration to express feelings of Muhajirs? We have been telling ARY’s owners about his programs.  He displays bias towards Muhajirs and invites guests who are not journalists and they use derogatory language against Muhajirs, “ Haider Abbas said.
He also demanded that PFUJ, KUJ, LUJ and office bearers of press club should take notice of Mubashir’s partial attitude and abusive language against Muhajirs and take actions against him.
