Terrorists are trying to fuel the fire of sectarianism in order to achieve their nefarious designs The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast near a Muharram procession in Choglia area of Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He expressed his grief and sorrow on the killing and injuring of several people in the blast. In a statement, Mr Hussain said that the savage terrorists behind attacks on the mourning processions are trying to drive a wedge between the followers of different sects. He said that the terrorists are trying to fuel the fire of sectarianism in order to create instability in the country.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) held a protest outside the Houses of Parliaments on Friday to express solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. The demonstrators were carrying placard which read "Save the Children of Gaza", "Peace, Not War", "We express solidarity with the people of Gaza" and "We strongly condemn atrocities against the people of Gaza". The solidarity demonstration was held after the MQM leader Altaf Hussain called on his party to observe a day of solidarity with the Palestinians and help the occupied people highlight their case and the in human conditions under which they are forced to live. Hussain has questioned the United Nations Security Council, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Pakistani government over their "blatant silence" on the suffering of Palestinians and have called on the world power, to end their Insensitivity" and "cold-heartedness' over the issue which relates to peace in the world.

UN and other international organizations must play their due role in resolving the conflict: Saleem Shahzad Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) organized a protest demonstration outside the UK Houses of Parliament today in order to express solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people of Gaza. MQM workers hailing from different areas of London and sympathizers, including women and elderly people, took part in the demonstration. Members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM in London Mr Muhammad Ashfaque, Mr Saleem Shahzad and organizer of the MQM UK Dr Saleem Danish were also present on occasion.

MQM will observe Day of Solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza today. Demonstration will be held all over Pakistan after Jumma prayers for the Solidarity with the people of Gaza. The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the deadly suicide blast in the procession of mourners on Misriyal Road in Dhoke Syedian area of Rawalpindi. Expressing his grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of several persons in the blast and injuring of many others, Mr Hussain said that if the killings of the mourners and other innocent people continued relentlessly, the fire of terrorism would engulf the entire country.
