In a show of goodwill gesture and boosting the culture of Sindh, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) celebrated the ‘Sindhi Topi and Ajrak Day’ at Nine Zero here on Tuesday. A large number of the party men, including women, participated in the programme that enthralled audience. Most of the participants wore white colour Sindhi culture dresses, caps and ajraks to beautify the ceremony. The participants in groups danced and sang culture songs in a wonderful style that astonished all. Such kind of ceremonies were also held in other parts of Sindh as the part of the Sindh Culture Day. In December 2009, Sindhi Cap Day was celebrated in Sindh province to celebrate the Sindhi cap and culture. In 2010, the day was renamed as Sindh Culture Day.
