Such cowardly acts are bringing a bad name to the country The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed grief and sorrow on the death of Swedish Social Worker Birgitta Alemby who was shot by armed terrorists in Lahore a few days ago. It condemned the cowardly acts of targeting volunteers of NGOs in the country and said that such acts are bringing a bad name to the country in the world. It demanded President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take notice of the killing of the Swedish women who was running orphanages in Lahore. The committee urged upon them to bring the perpetrators to justice.

He asked them to convey his greetings and prayers to the people of both the provinces and increase the pace of organizational activities there. He said that the MQM would public meetings in both the provinces soon.
