He also appealed to the people to pray for the health of Shah Turab-ul-Haque who is admitted in a local hospital.

It expressed its concerns on the emigration of a number of Hindu families to India as a desperate step because of the unbridled crimes against their community.

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has condemned the abhorrent act of parading women as naked in public Muzaffargarh by the family of a girl when they visited her house with a marriage proposal. It termed the incident as barbaric. It said that the forceful parading of women in public in without clothes was a shameful act. The woman had gone to the house of the girl with the marriage proposal for her son along with her sister. They were tortured by the family members of the girls. Their clothes were torn to pieces, and they were forced to parade in the streets. The shameful incident was also filmed on a mobile telephone.
