The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed grave concerns on the attempts to place a bar on the people with dual nationality rendering them ineligible for holding government offices after implementation of a similar bar on the members of the parliament. He said that a conspiracy was being hatched to weaken Pakistan completely by imposing such restrictions that would only serve to reduce the number of people loyal to the country.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM wants to the bring the revolution of poor-and-middle class leadership in the country in order to weed out corruption, nepotism, bribery and to establish a system based on justice and equality. He said this while talking on the telephone to the people in the Lahore zone office, who have recently joined the MQM.
Mr Hussain that Pakistan was passing through a critical phase, and the security and integrity of the country was threatened. He said that the MQM was trying to save Pakistan in these difficult times where a group was trying to disintegrate Pakistan.

Message on the occasion of 61st death anniversary of Liaquat Ali Khan
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the assassination of Shaheed-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan is a tragic incident of the history of Pakistan. Paying glowing tributes to the first prime minister of Pakistan on his 61st death anniversary, Mr Hussain said that the services and sacrifices rendered by Khan Liaquat Ali Khan for the Pakistan movement and for the emergence of Pakistan on the world-map as an independent country could never be forgotten.
Mr Hussain said it was a national tragedy that the circumstances behind his assassination were still shrouded in mystery. Liaquat Ali Khan wanted to see Pakistan in the line of advanced and developed countries of the world, but he was mercilessly killed in a public meeting in Rawalpindi. He said that by eliminating Liaquat Ali Khan the path of progress and prosperity was impeded. He urged upon President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to bring the facts regarding the investigation of the murder of Liaquat Ali Khan before the public.

KARACHI: Taliban are inhumane, illiterate and people from the stone-age, said Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday in Karachi.
Hussain was addressing the participants of a conference held in honour of Malala Yousafzai.
The 14-year-old child rights activists was attacked by Taliban gunmen on October 9 when she was on her way home from school.
Hussain said that if the armed forces fail to apprehend these culprits, then the nation will be left with no other option but to look towards the international community for the safety of their children.
