Altaf Hussain expresses grief on the martyrdom of Abdul Waheed of PIB Sector

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of Abdul Waheed by the firing of armed terrorists. Abdul Waheed was the worker of Unit CB – 1 of the PIB Sector of the MQM. He expressed sympathies to the bereaved family members and said that their loss was equally shared by him and all the workers of the MQM. He also prayed Almighty Allah to shower his blessings on the departed soul.

Altaf Hussain condemns blast near Chinese consulate in Karachi

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast near the Chinese consulate in Karachi. He expressed his sorrow on the injuring of one Rangers personnel and two other persons in the blast. He said that China is a long-standing and time-honoured friend of Pakistan and Chinese engineers have been working on development projects in Pakistan. He regretted that despite the role played by China in the development of the country, the Chinese engineers were kidnapped and some were even killed in a ruthless manner.

A delegation of the Co-ordination Committee called upon Allama Tanivirul Haque Thanvi, Maulana Qari Iqbal and Mufti Muhammad Naeem in their respective offices separately.

Muhammad Ashfaq and Qasim Ali Raza become joint in-chargesMember of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Mustafa Azizabadi has been made the In-charge of the International Secretariat of the MQM in London. This was decided in a meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in which important decisions were taken for conducting the affairs of the international secretariat in a co-ordinated manner. Members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Muhammad Ashfaq and Mr Muhammad Qasim Ali Raza have been made joint in-charges of the secretariat. Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of the MQM, has approved the decisions of the Co-ordination Committee.

MQM manifesto committee meeting held

A meeting of the Manifesto Committee of the MQM was held on Sunday in Khursheed Begum Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by deputy convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar. The meeting took stock of the implementation on the 2008 manifesto of the MQM. A subcommittee was formed for the preparation of the 2012 manifesto.

Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Dr Farooq Sattar has said that no one can stop the creation of the southern Punjab province. He said that the MQM was the first to submit the resolution for the southern Punjab province in the National Assembly and the MQM would do everything possible for making the new province in South Punjab a reality. He was addressing a public meeting in Mumtazabad area of Multan. Member of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Wasay Jalil and local office-bearers of the MQM were also present on the occasion.
