Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf telephoned MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain and exchanged views on the prevailing political situation in the country. PM Ashraf welcomed the meeting between President Asif Zardari and Mr Hussain. He praised Mr Hussain for giving support to President Zardari and commended him for making efforts for promoting democracy in the country.

The deputy convener of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr Muhammad Farooq Sattar has left for London today for attending an international conference on “Future of Pakistan - Evolving Paradigm."
The two-day conference will start on 28th June and end on 29th June. Noted scholars, professors, technocrats, think-tanks, including Professor Stephen P Cohen from Brookings Institute of America will attend the conference. Moreover, parliamentarians from different countries, government and private officials will also attend the conference.

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain telephoned president of the PML (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. He congratulated Mr Elahi on becoming the deputy prime minister of the country.
