A joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement was held at Nine Zero today. Deputy Conveners and members of the committee attended the meeting. The meeting expressed grave concerns on the illegal arrests of MQM workers, torture in custody, extrajudicial killings, and targeting of the MQM workers in incidents of terrorism. The committee expressed serious apprehensions on the enforced disappearances of nine MQM workers.
