Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Jabbar have been gunned down by terrorists of gang war
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has deplored the killings of two sympathizers of Unit 32 of the Lyari Sector by the criminals and terrorists of the gang war and termed it flagrant terrorism. Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Jabbar were gunned down on Badshahi road in Lyari area. It lamented the brutal killings of innocent persons in the holy month of Ramadan and said that the killers of the gang war were open enemies of Islam and humanity.

He said this while talking to Mr Mustafa Azizabadi and Mr Muhammad Ashfaq, in-charge and joint in-charge respectively of the International Secretariat of the MQM in London.

Government departments are in a state of decline because the merit system has ceased to exist Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan can progress and become a country having a bright future if nepotism, dishonesty, corruption, loot, bribery and cheating are eliminated. He said this while talking to Mr Mustafa Azizabadi and Mr Muhammad Ashfaq, in-charge and joint in-charge respectively of the International Secretariat of the MQM in London. Mr Hussain congratulated Mr Azizabadi and Mr Ashfaq on their new responsibilities and advised them to take decisions purely on merit and not on nepotism, friendship, and personal likes and dislikes. He asked them to follow the party discipline and principles.

Mr Hussain said that the message of the MQM was spreading speedily across the length and breadth of the country which was evident by the fact that people belonging to different nationalities, speaking different languages and following different religion were coming to the MQM and making practical efforts for their rights.

the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Awami National Party (ANP), the two rival but coalition parties have been agreed to evolve a joint strategy for bringing peace in Karachi, the economic hub of the country. The two parties agreed to take action against every criminal without any discrimination, implementing over the zero-tolerance policy. An MQM delegation, which has been meeting political parties of the country calling for unity, met with ANP leaders in Islamabad on Wednesday.
