Altaf Hussain endorses the decision of the Co-ordination Committee
A joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) was held in London and Pakistan. The meeting discussed in detail the invitation extended by the Tehreek-i-Minhaj-ul-Quran for participating in its long march being held in Islamabad on 14th January for introducing revolutionary reforms in the electoral system of the country and for eliminating the feudal system and corruption from the country. This was stated by the Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar in a press briefing at Nine Zero.

Asks provincial minister for health Dr Sagheer Ahmed to visit the affected cities
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed deep concern on the outbreak of measles in some cities of Sindh. He expressed his grief and sorrow on the deaths of several children due to measles. He appealed to Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and the Sindh government to take urgent steps for controlling the spread of measles and for providing health facilities to the affected children. He directed provincial minister for health Dr Sagheer Ahmed to visit the affected areas and utilize all government resources for bringing cure to the children suffering from the infectious disease. He said that no negligence should be tolerated in this regard.

He said it is unfortunate that the killers of Shahzaib have not been arrested so far only because they belonged to influential feudal families. He said that these corrupt and callous feudal lords kill innocent people and later impute to be the outcome of personal feuds.
