A joint meeting of Pakistan and London Rabita Committees were held to review and discuss the national security policy presented by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Members of both committees deliberated and discussed the proposed national security policy and reached the opinion that the government has failed to formulate a policy to tackle terrorism in the country.

According to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the militant Islamist groups, particularly the Taliban, are tightening their grip on Pakistan's financial capital, Karachi, and extending control over a number of areas in the city, which has become the Taliban's biggest base outside the country's northwestern tribal areas.

Personnel of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies are laying down their lives for us. He added that it was our responsibility to look after them and provide financial assistance to them. He said that MQM was ready to play its role in this connection.
