PML (N) government in Punjab had transformed the province into a police state The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the raid on the home of the member of the Co-ordination Committee Aftkhar Randhawa in Tehsil Jehanian of Khanewal in the Punjab province. He said that the office-bearers of MQM Southern Punjab and Central Punjab had come to the house of Aftakhar Randhawa for offering condolences on the death of his cousin Akhtar Ali Randhawa.

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that killings and incidents of terrorism occurring in Karachi are parts of a well-planned conspiracy, and the elements behind these incidents are the same who are carrying out suicide attack and bomb blasts for ravaging the country. It said that the MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain had forewarned about the threats of terrorism when the terrorists started making Karachi a centre of their activities.

MQM condemns Punjab government for using force against young doctors on hunger strike

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has condemned the Punjab Police for using force against young doctors on hunger strike on the behest of the Punjab government. It said that the Punjab government should have found a solution of the problem by negotiating with the young doctors but it resorted to use of violence and arrested several doctors who were on strike.
