Selection of caretaker CM be made without prejudice: MQM

A joint meeting of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Coordination Committee held in London and Karachi, simultaneously, decided with a consensus that the caretaker Sindh chief minister must be appointed without any prejudice and pressure. The Coordination Committees of both London and Pakistan which met on Thursday evening to discuss the situation arising out in wake of appointment of caretaker chief minister for Sindh.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Coordination Committee Member, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, said here on Thursday that Haq Parast representatives on the directives of MQM chief Altaf Hussain were leaving no stone unturned in serving the ailing humanity. He was speaking at a largely attended ceremony held at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in connection with installation of a latest MRI machine and five modern lifts.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Haroon said the MQM was strongly behind the Christian community and other non-Muslims and it would continue to raise its voice for every injustice committed against them.

Gatherings were held for offering fateha and recitation of the Holy Quran. The main gathering in this connection was held in the Lal Qila Ground in Azizabad.
