The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that he never compromised on his principled stance.
“I have never compromised on my principles in London. My case is in the British Court. I respect British Laws and judicial system. My lawyers are studying my case in accordance with the British laws. Truth will prevail by the Grace of Allah, “Mr. Hussain expressed his views after his release on bail at the MQMs International Secretariat. People watched his speech in 14 cities in Pakistan, including Karachi.
Amid enthusiastic slogans and shouts of his supporters and workers Mr. Hussain said that Allah said in Holy Quran that truth will always triumph over evil.
“The greatest strength for people who struggle against injustices is patience. It is the patience that enabled Ahle-Baith to prevail over the forces of Yazid forever. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) sacrificed his life but did not bow down his head before the forces of Yazid. When my brother and nephew were arrested, I did not beg for their lives. I accepted martyrdom like Imam Hussain, “Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain said that he never bow down before repressive forces. He added that he would continue his struggle against injustices and sacrifice his life like Hussain and would dishonor the name ‘Hussain’.
He thanked officers of Scotland Yard and Metropolitan Police for their care and providing him with the best medical treatment and facilities.
Mr. Hussain thanked workers, mothers, sisters, elders, young men and children from the bottom of his heart for staging peaceful protests across the country.

Mr. Hussain thanked Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif for his moral and diplomatic support and restraining PMLN leaders and workers for giving statements on his arrest. He also thanked Acting Pakistani High Commission Imran Mirza.
He also thanked former president Asif Ali Zardari and his parties’ leaders for expressing solidarity with him in the crisis.
He thanked PPP, ANP, PTI, Muslim League, Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Former President Musharraf, Asfandar Yar Ali, Ghulam Ahmed Bilor, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, Chaudhry Shujaat, former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Javed Hashmi, Sheikh Rashid and other leaders for expressing solidarity and visiting dharna sites.
He also thanked scholars, artists, traders, industrialists, shop owners, journalists, office bearers of various social organizations and leaders and representatives from minorities for their support during the crisis and visiting dharna sites.
Mr. Hussain thanked and prayed for Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Chief Minister Sindh, provincial ministers, rangers, police and the city administration.
Mr. Hussain expressed grief over the martyrdom of officers and jawans of Pak Army as a result of terrorist acts. He added that once again three lakh volunteers who would fight with terrorists with them.
He said that religious extremism is contrary to the teachings of the Holy Quran. He added that his struggle was not only for Muhajirs but for all the oppressed people.
He said Pakistanis of all faiths and ethnicities are equal and should enjoy equal rights.
Mr. Hussain thanked Rabita Committee Pakistan, London, Karachi Tenzeemi Committee, Sindh Tanzeemi Committee and member of all wings, office bearers and workers of all zones and sectors for displaying exemplary unity and solidary.
He also thanked the people who arranged and managed the dharna sites.
