Post-Supreme Court’s ruling, #Pakistan is now a monarchy where the rule of law and constitution exist no longer, but the reign of a king.
#SupremeCourtofpakistan
Our elders sacrificed millions of lives for the creation of a democratic republic, not for a military kingdom or imperial regime. We reject this monarchy and imperialism, where instead of people’s rule, the government, administration, judiciary, and all institutions operate under the authority of a single sovereign, and the people are treated like slaves.
I stand against monarchy and will continue to speak out against it.
Whether anyone accepts it or not, the Supreme Court ruling passed on June 27, 2025, by the Supreme Court’s kangaroo constitutional bench did not just assassinate the constitution, law, and justice, it held the funeral for Pakistan itself, giving birth to the "Kingdom of Pakistan."
Anyone who says that justice can still be sought through the courts is only deceiving themselves and misleading the people.
In the courts now, it is not the constitution but the royal decree of the monarch that holds power, and only commands for the monarch’s satisfaction are issued.
Those political and religious parties, their leaders, writers, journalists, and anchors who support this monarchical state and its sovereign are open enemies of democracy, justice, and the people.
I say to the #Muhajirs:
We struggled for a Pakistan that would be the homeland of all Muslims of the Indian subcontinent, where everyone would be treated equally.
But Pakistan could not become the homeland for all Muslims of the subcontinent.
Muhajirs sacrificed millions of lives for Pakistan, but in the country built by their own elders, they are treated like outsiders.
Even today, Muhajirs are deprived of their basic rights and considered second or third-class citizens.
The majority of Muhajirs reside in Sindh, yet sadly Sindhis claim that Sindh belongs only to Sindhis, and Muhajirs have no rights over it.
To those who make such claims, do they know anything about Sindh’s history? There has never been a Muslim rule in Sindh’s history.
If Sindhis truly want freedom for their land, then they must sit down and talk with Muhajirs.
However, the 60/40 quota system in Sindh can no longer continue.
If Sindhis say that Muhajirs have no right over Sindh, then this will not work.
It is unacceptable to enforce discriminatory laws, such as requiring number plates on vehicles featuring Ajrak, or else face heavy fines.
We do not hate Ajrak or Sindhi culture. On the contrary, we respect it.
We hate no one, but we will also not tolerate being subjected to hatred, prejudice, and oppression.
I urge Muhajirs to make a firm resolve to break the chains of slavery, to end the hatred, injustice, and discriminatory treatment, and to strive practically for their right to self-determination.
I call upon MQM workers and common Muhajirs living in overseas units to write letters to the United Nations and all international organisations to inform them about the discriminatory treatment being inflicted upon Muhajirs in Pakistan.
