There is nothing superior and nobler than the desire of serving the humanity

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that serving the humanity is the best form of worship. He said that there was nothing superior and nobler than the selfless work being done by the MQM workers. He prayed Allah to shower his blessings on the people who were donating money for helping the ailing humanity.

Address to MQM workers and KKF volunteers in Sukkur

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that no other political party besides the MQM has come forward for helping the families affected by the horrific fire in Baldia Town. He said this while talking to the office-bearers and workers of the MQM and volunteers of the KKF at a relief camp in Sukkur established for to the people affected by recent floods.

Talking to Mr Siddiqui on telephone, Mr Hussain said that the moral courage shown by him did not have any parallel in the history of the politics of Pakistan. He said that the entire nation was proud of him. He asked Mr Siddiqui to continue helping the affected families of the Baldia Town conflagration in every possible manner. The Co-ordination Committee of the MQM in London also spoke to Mr Siddiqui and praised him for his courageous step.

It said that Mr Siddiqui has not only resigned but also presented himself before the public for accountability. It said that Mr Siddiqui has demonstrated by resigning and following the teachings of Mr Altaf Hussain that every worker of the MQM holding any public office is always answerable to the public.

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has announced three days of mourning on the tragic deaths of more than two hundred workers due to a raging fire in a factory in Baldia Town in Karachi. The decision was taken in a joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in London and Pakistan. The meeting termed the horrific incident a National Tragedy and decided to suspend all organizational activities of the MQM in order to pay full concentration on relief activities.
