MQM founder Leader Altaf Hussain extend a heartfelt welcome to Mr Sohail Afridi on their visit to Karachi.

“Sance MQM HQs Nine Zero were operational today, I'd have invited KP CM Sohail Afridi to come and be our honored guest", says Altaf Hussain

On behalf of myself and the MQM Coordination Committee, the Central Executive Committee, and all dedicated members both domestically and internationally, especially the residents of Karachi, I warmly welcome the newly elected and youthful KP Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, as he arrives in Karachi, the largest metropolis in Pakistan.

It is deeply engrained in our traditions to greet our guests with genuine warmth. Hence, I extend a heartfelt welcome to Mr Sohail Afridi and his team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on their visit to Karachi.

Had Nine Zero, the MPA Hostel, Khurshid Begum Memorial Hall, and the other MQM offices been accessible today, I would have sincerely invited Chief Minister KPK Sohail Afridi to join us at Nine Zero, partake in a meal alongside us, and make the visit meaningful.

His presence would have been a point of pride for us, but alas, Nine Zero is currently closed.

A connection of political, ideological, and philosophical significance exists between the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Altaf Hussain, and the devoted workers of MQM. My colleagues and I take great delight in the shared background of Sohail Afridi and MQM members, both emerging from lower middle-class roots.

Thus, I feel an immense joy at Sohail Afridi’s appointment as KP Chief Minister, and I commend the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for selecting him for this role.

The citizens of Pakistan are well aware that in the nation's 78 years, Altaf Hussain introduced a transformative ideology aimed at liberating Pakistan from the grasp of a corrupt two percent elite and instead empowering the marginalized 98 percent of the poor and middle classes.

Under the guidance of Altaf Hussain, MQM has uniquely been the first party to integrate individuals from less privileged backgrounds into the elected bodies of the nation.

Altaf Hussain continues to assert that Pakistan cannot hope for security or survival without dismantling the antiquated systems of feudalism, tribal influences, and unregulated capitalism. This entrenched feudal culture must be eradicated for Pakistan to achieve true independence. The persistence of this outdated feudal structure means that Pakistan remains reliant on foreign aid and support from the IMF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, wealthy Western nations including the United States, and various Middle Eastern countries.

Both the economy and the defense sector of Pakistan are propped up by the assistance of these global entities and affluent nations.

During last year’s conflict between India and Pakistan, while Pakistani Air Force pilots operated the planes skillfully, those aircraft were produced in China. The legacy of the feudal system leads to high levels of unemployment among educated youth, resulting in a brain drain as they seek opportunities abroad, while the ruling class deceives the public with claims of a robust economy. These rulers are no better than thieves.

I wish to convey to Imran Khan, the leader of PTI who is presently incarcerated, that upon his release, he ought to nominate numerous dedicated, strong, and selfless members from the lower and middle-income brackets of his party for positions in the elected assemblies.

This action could pave the way for the dismantling of the outdated system, which is crucial for the security and sustainability of Pakistan.
