Altaf Hussain, the founding leader and Supremo of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), has been receiving medical care for the last two weeks at a hospital in London due to health issues.
He has voiced serious concerns regarding reports that
, the Tehreek-e Insaf chairman, has lost vision in one of his eyes.
In a heartfelt appeal invoking both Almighty Allah and the revered Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him), he called on Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir to leverage his position to secure Imran Khan’s swift temporary release.
He also insisted that, if this is not feasible, Imran Khan should be promptly moved from prison to a hospital of his preference, as per the arrangement made by his legal team and family.
In addition, Altaf Hussain expressed strong disapproval of remarks made by certain figures within Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf who indicated they would donate their eyes to Imran Khan.
He asserted that what Imran Khan truly requires is not eye donations. However, rather specialized medical care from qualified eye doctors at a reputable medical facility.
If those
leaders genuinely care for Imran Khan, they should actively engage in actions, such as organizing genuine protests for his release and necessary medical assistance, rather than merely making empty declarations.
Moreover, Altaf Hussain emphasized that those leaders making such comments are consistently distressing the innocent workers and supporters of PTI.
He urged PTI members to ignore the “distraction tactics of these leaders” and to refrain from any interactions with them.
