The MQM confirms that in the early hours today, the Metropolitan Police arrived at the residence of Mr Altaf Hussain in North London. They had the search warrant and said that they want to arrest Mr Hussain and take him to the police station where he will be questioned about money laundering investigation.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Rabita Committee has strongly condemned the unlawful arrests of workers from Korangi by Rangers and expressed their fear that they might killed extra judicially. 
Rangers have unlawfully arrested Arif Raza, Faisal Sayeed and Zain Shaheen. Arif Raza is a member of MQM Korangi Unit 79 Committee.

The Coordination Committee termed the murder was the series of killings of intelligentsias, seemed a conspiracy against Karachiites. It said anti-state groups worked on their malice designs to target the intelligentsias including teachers, scholars, Ulemas, lawyers, engineers, doctors and other public figures.
