The delegations of political parties, trade organizations, lawyers’ affinities, Christian and Hindu communities, religious leaderships and labour unionists visited Numaish Chowrangi to show solidarity with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain on the second day of the sit-in.
People from all walks of life visited the sit-in, which reflected the entire country stood for Altaf Hussain. PPP leader and Senior Minister Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khurho, while addressing to the participants, said we felt good to show our support to our democratic friend, as we vowed to do it. He also said the politicians and political leaderships should maintain unity among them to continue the democratic process.
He demanded that Altaf Hussain should be provided appropriate health facilities on humanitarian ground. He said the entire Pakistan hoped that the process of justice would appropriately be done in his case. He also wished and prayed for his early recovery from illness and good health.
The delegation from PML-F led by Sindh MPA Jam Madad Ali Shah said we had deep concern over MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s illness and hoped to be provided sufficient health facilities. He said PML-F extended its full support to him and his party workers during the hard times and He would be cleared against all fake cases through court of justice. He also said he is from us and we belong to him and demanded to deal his cases according to the country’s law.
Siraj Kassam Telli of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) said, while visiting the sit-in, it is hard times for MQM leaderships and workers. He said we should pray for Altaf Hussain’s good health and due clearance from fake cases. All visiting delegations reacted same and showed absolute solidarity to MQM Chief, as he is a unanimous leader of Karachiites and 98 percent of unprivileged class.
