Late night raids on houses without warrants and women police amount to usurpation of citizens’ rights

A number of women whose houses were raided and searched in the late hours of night by law-enforcement agencies without any search or arrest warrants and in the absence of women police said here that such an act on the part of law-enforcers amounted to usurpation of the citizens’ rights.
They were narrating their ordeals at a seminar held on the topic of `Usurpation of Citizens’ Rights’ held here on Tuesday under the auspices of Women Wing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

KKF Ambulance Service has started in Naseerabad, Baluchistan.

Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, a charitable organization ran by MuttahidaQuami Movement, has started KKF Ambulance service in Naseerabad, Baluchistan. An event was held in Naseerabad Zone the day before yesterday in which MQM Rabita Committee’s member and HaqParast Sindh Assembly member Muhammad Yusuf Shahwani handed over the key of the ambulance to the office bearers of the zone.

Cautioning that Pakistan was passing through a critical juncture, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain said here on Tuesday that it was collective responsibility of all parties to help save the country from both the internal and external threats.
“There is a danger to Pakistan’s survival and solidarity and hence it was responsibility of all parties to play their role in this regard,” he added.
