Peace cricket tournament: Farooq Sattar applauds girls students for participation

The Senior Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar said that the Peace Cricket Tournament organized by All Pakistan Muttahida Student Organization (APMSO) was not only for the male students of University of Karachi but also equally for the female students on the occasion of prize distribution ceremony.
 
Addressing to a media briefing along with Basit Ali, Faisal Iqbal, MQM MNA Ali Rashid and members of APMSO Central Committee, Dr Farooq Sattar said that he thought that Jinnah University was the only represent of female students of Karachi but it was pleasing to know that there was some 65 percent of girl students in KU. He announced that seeing the strength of female students, MQM would allocate its 65 percent of electoral seats for female candidates to acknowledge their participation in education.
 
He said that some corrupt elements were trying encroached university lands but MQM would evacuate all the encroachers and would build a state of art research centers for the students of University of Karachi. He finally appreciated APMSO and the tournament management for providing such opportunity to the students of the university along with educational activities.
