The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has appealed to muftis, clerics and scholars of Islam to issue a fatwa against Amir Jamaat-e-Islam for saying that the tragic incident of Karbala was a battle between two companions of the Prophet (SAW). Mr. Hussain said that JI Amir has insulted the Prophet’s (SAW) grandson by comparing him with Yazeed.

A joint meeting of Pakistan and London Rabita Committees were held to review and discuss the national security policy presented by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Members of both committees deliberated and discussed the proposed national security policy and reached the opinion that the government has failed to formulate a policy to tackle terrorism in the country.

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has demanded that the government should create a ‘Martyr Fund’ to help the families of personnel of armed forces, rangers, FC and police. Personnel of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies are laying down their lives for us. He added that it was our responsibility to look after them and provide financial assistance to them. He said that MQM was ready to play its role in this connection.
