ALTAF HUSSAIN SLAMS SINDH GOVERNMENT OVER #KARACHI'S DETERIORATING CONDITION

ALTAF HUSSAIN SLAMS SINDH GOVERNMENT OVER #KARACHI'S DETERIORATING CONDITION ....... The #Pakistan People's Party (PPP) government has utterly devastated Karachi and other urban areas of Sindh. If it is incapable of serving the people, it should step down immediately: Altaf Hussain The alarming rise in daily accidents caused by dumpers, tankers, and trailers in Karachi is a grave concern. Not a single day passes without a dumper, water, or oil tanker running over motorcyclists or pedestrians in some part of the city. Across the world, large trailers have designated lanes on highways and are required to follow strict traffic regulations. However, in Karachi, heavy dumpers, tankers, and trailers recklessly navigate through narrow streets, often speeding dangerously and crushing innocent citizens. The Sindh government remains indifferent, as these tragedies do not personally affect its leaders or their families. A recent heart-wrenching accident at Malir Halt, where a water tanker crushed a family, including a husband, wife, and their newborn child, underscores the gravity of the situation. Yet, the Sindh government remains completely unmoved, failing to take any action because it profits from the powerful dumper mafia. The PPP government has destroyed Karachi's infrastructure, leaving the city's roads in ruins and depriving citizens of even the most basic necessities. Instead of addressing public grievances, the Sindh government is deeply entrenched in corruption. If it cannot fulfill its responsibilities, it must step down immediately. I express my deepest sympathies to the families who have lost their loved ones in these tragic traffic accidents and stand in solidarity with them in their time of grief.
