KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Wednesday observed mourning day across Sindh over the attack on its election office in Buffer Zone area killing four people and injuring 30 others.

It should be mentioned that the strike call was given by MQM’s Coordination Committee on Tuesday, in protest over the killing of the activists in the bombing.

The trades activities and transport remained suspended against the terrorist activities in the metropolis.

Private Schools Management Association and Transporters Association completely supported the strike.

MQM coordination committee said that entire nation is united against the terrorist elements and their cowardly attacks.

Earlier, on the directives of party chief Altaf Hussain all election offices of MQM were closed in response to the attack.

Meanwhile, matric examinations in Karachi were postponed and will be held on Friday, the board announced.
