Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday strongly condemned a suicide bombing near a military check post in Peshawar.
He expressed his grief and sorrow over the killing and wounding of several security personnel and citizens in the attack.
“Elements shedding the blood of innocent people are open enemies of the
country and they are carrying out bomb blasts to create instability,” the MQM leader said in a statement.
Hussain prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, and extended sympathies to the grieving family members.
He demanded President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso to take serious notice of the suicide attack and bring the perpetrators to justice.
