LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) head Altaf Hussain on Friday deplored the throwing of a shoe at former President Pervez Musharraf during his appearance before Sindh High Court.
In a statement from London, Hussain described the shoe attack as an uncivilized act. Such violent acts would not bring a bad name to the country in the world, he said.
He opined that any person appearing before courts to defend charges is a good step.
The MQM chief urged the government, judiciary and other agencies to take notice of the incident. – CNBC Pakistan
