HYDERABAD: Deputy Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement Khalid Maqbool has said that the party faced conspiracies in all regimes in the past and now once again some forces have formed an alliance against it which , he said will be foiled with the support of the masses.
Talking to media persons here outside the office of the Returning Officer on Wednesday, he said his party leadership has knocked the court of law against the decision of delimitation in Karachi as MQM considered it a violation of the Constitution, he added.
Khalid Maqbool said his party is taking part in the general elections from the entire country including Punjab with the aim of bringing middle class leadership in the parliament.
Former District Nazim and Member of the MQM Coordination Committee Kanwer Naveed Jamil who also present on the occasion said that his party is taking part in the general elections from all over the country for the first time and it will field its candidates from all seats.
About nomination form of the Election Commission of Pakistan, he said that it is difficult for those who have hidden their money and not paid the taxes.
Later Khalid Maqbool and Kanwer Naveed Jamil submitted the nomination forms for contesting election on NA-219 and NA-220 respectively. Kanwer Naveed Jamil also submitted the nomination forms for PS-39.
