                            Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his concern over the illness of eminent social worker Mr Abdul Sattar Eidhi. He has prayed for his good health and speedy recovery. He said that Pakistan was known throughout the world by the social and welfare works of Mr Eidhi. He said that every effort should be made for the treatment of Mr Edhi was he was an asset for the country and nation.                             The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the attack on the camp of the security forces near River Chenab in Gujrat resulting in the death of seven soldiers. Expressing grief and sorrow on the death of soldiers the committee termed it an attack on the national integrity. It said that the terrorists were working on a vicious conspiracy to make Pakistan unstable.

                            Sweden’s ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Lars Hjalmar Wide, on Wednesday, visited the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founder and leader Altaf Hussain’s Azizabad residence `90’ and met the MQM Coordination Committee members Kunwar Naveed Jameel, Kanwar Khalid Younus and Wasey Jalil. The envoy and the Coordination Committee members during their meeting discussed the country’s political, socio-economic and other matters of mutual interest.
