Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui expressed his concern over the high rate of crimes in Hyderabad city.
In a statement, Dr Maqbool said that Hyderabad is the second largest city of Sindh that has inadequate police force to cater its population. He said both the criminals and the security personnel were not locals and the same situation prevailed in Karachi.
He said that the police administration was in the hands of non-local officers despite of locals and due to the reason, the crime rates went high, including stealing, robbery, encroachments and other crimes. He said authorities should take notice on issue for the larger interest of the people of Sindh and Pakistan.
