MQM condemns encroachment in P&T Colony

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the illegal development and encroachment in P&T Colony of Defence and demanded to immediately stop such illegal and corrupt practices.

In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the people of P&T Colony strongly protest against the encroachment mafias. It said that the government and authorities seemed sterile to take any action against those mafias and their criminal negligence seemed supporting for those elements.

The Committee said that the historical importance of P&T Colony seemed effecting and also creating serious problems to the provision of water and sewerage facilities. It said that if the ongoing Karachi-operation was impartial then such criminal activities posting question mark to its credibility.

The Coordination Committee demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Shah to immediately stop the illegal development and encroachments in P&T Colony. It said that they should also ask the local administration for their criminal silence and should bring the perpetrators to the justice.
