The entire reorganization process will take fifteen days to one month
London: 25th May 2013
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the complete reorganization of the Co-ordination Committee and other departments of the MQM would require fifteen days to one month but names of some members of the Co-ordination Committee and Karachi Tanzeemi (Organizing) Committee would be announced tomorrow in a General Workers’ Meeting. He said this while talking to the provisional Co-ordination Committee, the dissolved Co-ordination Committee and members of various wings of the MQM at Nine Zero.
Mr Hussain said that the process of reorganization remained pending for long time because of circumstances and particularly because of the situation in Sindh and Karachi. The office-bearers were limited to Nine Zero because of threats of terrorism resulting in certain weaknesses and shortcomings.
Mr Hussain said that interviews were being held continuously for reorganizing the Co-ordination Committee and other departments of the party. He said that the MQM is a political party that works on scientific and ideological principles. The process of self-accountability and learning continues in the MQM constantly.
Mr Hussain said that he was receiving thousands of fax and telephone calls and added that he would ensure that the content of the fax and names of the sender are not disclosed to the person against whom the complaint is made. If anyone in the international secretariat did this in future, they would be expelled from the party.
He said that the senior worker Nadeem Nusrat was being made ad-hoc in-charge of the Co-ordination Committee in the international secretariat.
Mr Hussain asked the people to pray for the success of the MQM.
