On the directive of the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain, Senator Muhammad Ali Saif, MNA Rashid Godil, In-charge Minority’s Wing Syed Manawar-ul-Islam and others visited various Churches to offer condolence over the suicide attacks.
The delegation met with Bishop of Church of Pakistan Sadiq Denial at Bishop House and Father of St. John’s Catholic Church Saleh Daigo separately and delivered the solidarity message of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain. It said that Mr. Hussain taught to respect all the religions and sects, and every Pakistani should be treated equally.
The delegation strongly condemned the Lahore Churches blasts and demanded the government to provide appropriate security to the sanctuaries. Meanwhile, Bishop Sadiq Denial and Father Saleh Diago thanked Mr. Hussain for remembering at the time of grief and pain.
While, Senior Deputy Convener of MQM Coordination Committee Nadeem Nusrat also condemned the suicide attacks on the Catholic Churches of Yuhanabad and said that they were against the teaching of Islam. He offered heartfelt condolence for the aggrieved families and demanded the Punjab government to arrest the culprit immediately.
