DALLAS: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Houston and Dallas, Texas staged protest against recent bombings and killings of electoral candidates and supporters of three major moderate political parties of Pakistan MQM, PPP, and ANP.
A large number of MQM's Pakistani supporters gathered in Dallas, Houston and other cities and staged protests.
A large number of community members attended the protest rally and demanded from the caretaker government and election commission of Pakistan for Justice including holding of free and fair elections.
Asad Siddiqui, Mohammad Zaheer and Jamshed Warsi represented the Central Organizing committee of MQM USA while Houston Chapter Incharge Imtiaz Ahsan and his team were leading the Houston Chapter.
Mohammad Izhar and Farooq were representing cities of San Antonio and Austin. They said in their address that Pakistan is being handed over to the extremists.
They demanded that the global community should take notice of keeping liberal parties away from the polling process in Pakistan.
