Wednesday, April 03, 2013 - Karachi—Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar Tuesday announced to commence the election campaign.
The Deputy Convener said this while addressing rally of the MQM activists in North Nazimabad late Monday night. The rally was produced to celebrate the commencement of the election campaign by inaugurating the decoration of various round-about in the area.
Dr Sattar on the occasion said that the MQM had commenced the election campaign that day (Monday) and the residents of the area had already endorsed the victory of the MQM nominees in the emerging elections.
He said that the freedom movement that resulted in the creation of Pakistan was also a terminating movement of the white-skinned Britishers and the polling day of May 11 would then be a day of end of rule of the black-skinned Britishers from the country.
He said that the MQM would by coming in power ensure peace, tranquility and harmony across the country through the implementation of its manifesto. Under the government of the MQM, the people would be facilitated with peace, better opportunities for
education and employment and health.
