Where, they arrested an MQM worker Babar Mughal of Unit-173 at Arfat Colony in North Nazimabad. Similarly, four workers, including Shehzad Tayyab, Ejaz Ali, Sajid and Saqib of Unit-32 of Lyari Sector were also arrested.

Two workers of Scheme 33 Maymar Sector, Kazim and Muhammad Pervez were arrested and a worker of Unit-79 of Korangi Sector Syed Zahid son of MQM martyred worker Syed Rafique was also arrested by Rangers in respective raids.

The Coordination Committee said that the situation got alarming when Rangers officials did not tell the captives’ whereabouts to their respective families. It said despite arresting the murderers of recently martyred worker and member MQM Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi’s Coordinator, Salman Kazmi and various other killings.

People belonged to various banned outfits unequivocally pronounced and claimed about their terrorists’ acts but the Rangers and security officials were instead apprehending those elements, kept arresting innocent MQM workers. It said that it was felt like all the energy of security agencies to stop the terrorism in the country, was being wasted on MQM workers.
