MQM MPAs show concerns over police torture on protesting teachers

MQM Members of Sindh Assembly expressed their deep concerns over police torture on the demonstrating teachers at Bilawal House Chowrangi.
 
They said that the teachers were peacefully demonstrating for their demands as every citizen had constitutional right to protest anywhere in the country. They said that the teachers belonged to all over the province including Karachi and was forced to protest against the government because non-payment of their salaries.
 
The Parliamentarians said that despite accepting their demands, the government used force to silence their voices. They said that the police used batons and water canon against the protesting teachers including women. They strongly condemned the police torture and contemplation to the noble professionals.
 
They said that it was their right to protest against the government to press for their demands. They said that the teachers were being deprived of their salaries, so they could not continue their economic cycle. They demanded Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice against police torture on the protesting teachers
