Altaf Hussain strongly condemns the killing of the son-in-law of Mufti Naeem

Continuing incidents of targeted killing have placed a big question mark on the performance of police, Rangers and other agencies
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Maulana Masood Baig, son-in-law of the administrator of Jamia Binoria SITE Mufti Muhammad Naeem. He termed it a vicious conspiracy to inflame sectarian strife in Karachi.

Mr Hussain said that the incidents of target killings occurring in Karachi in the presence of heavy deployment of police, Rangers, and other forces had put a big question mark on their performance. He asked why the incidents of target killings were occurring in the city despite the presence of so many government agencies.

Mr Hussain said that the terrorist elements belonging to banned outfits have made safe havens in Karachi and they are killing religious scholars, doctors, engineers, teachers, and other people. Apparently the helpless citizens have been left to the mercy of ruthless killers.

Mr Hussain recalled the killing of the son-in-law of Allama Talib Jauhari and the son of Allama Abbas Kumaili besides many other people during the past several days and now the terrorists have gunned down the son-in-law of Mufti Muhammad Naeem.

Condemning the incident in strong words, Mr Hussain demanded inquiry of the incident and immediate arrest of the killers.

He offered his heartfelt condolences to Mufti Naeem and others members of the family. He also prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give patience to the bereaved family members.
