Expresses grief on the killing of anti-Taliban militia leader Fateh Khan in the suicide blast
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the suicide blast in the Dagar area of Buner in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulting in the death of anti-Taliban militia leader Fateh Khan and his guards. He called it a cowardly act of terrorism and expressed grief on the killings of Fateh Khan and his guards in the suicide attack.
Mr Hussain said that a concerted effort should be made against terrorism, and such suicide blasts should be condemned by all political and religious parties by setting aside all expediencies. He said that the blood of the people killed in terrorism would not remain unfruitful, and the nation would,one day, extirpate terrorism from the country.
Mr Hussain expressed sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed Allah to shower His blessings on the souls of the people killed in the blast. He demanded President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take serious notice of the killing of Fateh Khan and bring all the perpetrators swiftly to justice.
