MQM will hold a public referendum throughout the country in order to solicit public opinion on the future of Pakistan
An important meeting was held in Khursheed Begum Secretariat of the MQM in Azizabad to discuss the proposed public referendum. The Co-ordination Committee and office-bearers of various wings and departments of the MQM along with the elected representatives participated in the meeting.
Mr Altaf Hussain, the Founder and Leader of the MQM, had directed the Co-ordination Committee to hold a public referendum throughout the country in order to solicit public opinion if they wanted the Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan or the Taliban’s Pakistan.
Participants of the meeting gave various suggestions, and important decisions were taken for holding the referendum successfully. The meeting expressed solidarity with Malala Yousufzai, Shazia and Kainat and prayed for their speedy recovery and good health.
