The MQM would get more votes in the coming elections as compared to past.
Results would be shocking for political players

Address on the second day of Eidul Azha at the main camp of the KKF set up for collecting hides

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that there has been a significant increase in the number of hides of the sacrificial animals donated to the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation as compared to past. He said that the MQM would get more votes than the past in the elections, and the results would shock the political players. He was addressing a large gathering of MQM workers and office-bearers at the main camp set up for the collection of hides under the KKF. Members of the Co-ordination Committee and elected representatives were also present on the occasion.

Mr Hussain said that the MQM was leading other political parties in serving the people, honesty, integrity, hard work, courage and determination. He said that no other political party could compete with the workers of the MQM in these traits.

He said that the MQM was the only party that had taken birth in the poor and middle class segment of the society and sent able and educated people in the elected houses. It was because of this that the forces wanting to perpetuate the status quo tried repeatedly to crush the MQM and wipe it out.

Mr Hussain expressed grief and sorrow on death of several innocent people in incidents of terrorism and said that terrorism on the occasion of Eid was unfortunate. He said that festivals of any religion should be worthy of respect, and even if there is war between two sides it is put on hold in respect of the festival.

He thanked the people on donating hides of the sacrificial animals to the KKF in record numbers. The overwhelming manner in which the people have reposed their confidence in the KKF has broken all past records.

Mr Hussain praised the MQM workers who remain steadfast in difficult times. They braved hardships of jails, left their homes, and had to go from place during the repressive state operation but their courage and resolved could not be diminished.

He said that the hardworking, courageous and sincere workers like the MQM could not be found throughout the world. Other parties inPakistandid not have even five percent of such workers.

Mr Hussain said that during the periods of the four Pious Caliphs, the Commander of the Faithful and a common person had equal rights. If anyone wanted to see a glimpse of the equality of that period, he could see it in the MQM where the high and the low were equal. There was no discrimination at all and workers were given even more respect than the office-bearers.

Mr Hussain said that the MQM was striving to establish a system in which no feudal lord or rich person could subject common people to cruelties. The MQM wants to abolish age-old customs based on ignorance.

“We want to bring a system in which women will feel protected while going out of their homes, and no one would be able to cast an evil eye on them. The law and order situation would be so good that people would not feel threatened even in leaving their shops opened.”

He praised Almighty Allah to eliminate terrorism from the country and solve its problems. He praised the MQM workers and KKF volunteers for their selfless services.
