Altaf Hussain expresses grief over rain-affected incidents

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain expressed deep sorrow and grief over the unfortunate deaths and injuries in rain affected incidents.
 
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the inadequate measures to tackle natural calamity caused the loss of innocent lives. He said that it was government’s responsibility to take appropriate measures to coup any disastrous situation.
 
He said that without local bodies’ system, it was impossible to resolve people’s issues because they had to throng around elected representatives. He prayed Almighty Allah to bestow eternal peace for the victims of rain and demanded the government to provide appropriate health facilities to the injured.
