Co-ordination Committee demands the government to bring the perpetrators to justice
The Founder and Leader of Muttaheda Quami Movement (MQM), Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed profound grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of Abdul Hakim, a worker of the New Karachi Town Unit of the MQM Labour Division. He offered condolences to the grief-stricken family and prayed Allah to give them patience and courage to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the divine forgiveness and eternal peace of the departed soul of Abdul Hakim.
Meanwhile, the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM has also condemned the brutal murder of Abdul Hakim and demanded immediate arrest of the brutal killers. It deplored that the marauding terrorists were on a killing spree even in broad daylight but the law-enforcing agencies were standing as silent spectators. The lives of innocent people and workers of the MQM had become insecure due to inaction against the terrorists.
The Committee termed the murdergy of Abdul Hakim as a part of the conspiracy to undermine the peace of the city. It also said that the barbaric elements involved in the terrorism wanted to push the country to bankruptcy by creating instability, and they deserved to be condemned at every level.
The Committee condoled with the grieving family of Abdul Hakim and prayed for the eternal peace of his soul. The Committee also demanded of the Presidetn Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Sind Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the murder of Abdul Hakim and to bring the perpetrators to justice
