The assurances given by the government that CDWP and Executive Committee for National Economic Council would add other big projects for Karachi in their future meetings a good sign
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Rabita Committee member Dr. Farooq Sattar has welcomed the approval of the Greater Karachi Water Supply Project K-IV by Central Development Working Committee. He also termed the assurances given by the government that CDWP and Executive Committee for National Economic Council would add other big projects for Karachi in their future meetings a good sign.
“MQM has always taken great interest to solve problems faced by people. It has always tried to apprise the rulers of problems faced by people so solutions to problems could be found, “ Dr. Farooq Sattar said.
Dr. Farooq Sattar said that MQM had brought to the knowledge of Prime Minister Nawaz about  the K-IV Project and other development projects for Karachi in the previous meetings. He said they were not in the agenda of CDWP and Executive Committee for National Economic Council in their previous meetings.
“We again brought it the knowledge of the Prime Minister. He directed his Principle Secretary JavedAslam to include ‘Development Projects for Karachi’ in the next meetings, “ Dr. Farooq Sattar said.
Dr. Farooq Sattar thanked Prime Minister on behalf of Mr. Hussain and hoped that he would support the projects for Karachi in future.
